2010 STUDENT SYMPOSIUM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
NOW BEING ACCEPTED!
Applications are now being accepted for BATA's 2010 Student Scholarship, which assists students with funding to attend the Annual BATA Symposium in September. Money raised during past BATA Symposiums finances this student scholarship opportunity. The scholarship award includes the cost of student registration to the symposium and a stipend of $150 to help with travel, room & board.
BATA is able to offer two scholarships- a scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in a pre-art therapy/art therapy program and a scholarship for graduate students enrolled in a Masters art therapy educational program.
Requirements for applicants include:
- A student enrolled in a pre-art therapy or art therapy program at the bachelor or graduate level;
- A current student or friend member of BATA, or joining BATA at the time of application.
Applications should include:
- A cover letter including name, address, e-mail, phone number, current school, and course of study
- A copy of your student ID and letter of support from a faculty member.
- A brief essay on the importance of receiving this scholarship and how attending the BATA Symposium will benefit your studies.
Application deadline to TBA soon. Applicants will reviewed by the June BATA Board meeting. Scholarship recipients will be notified by letter.
Applications can be electronically submitted in .pdf or .doc file to Donna Fragapane, BATA's Clinical Chair
